Home Bargains P Louise Dupe for 99p?!?!

By now P Louise has took the nation by storm and is a household name! They make some amazing products and are a firm favourite for their cute packaging. A while back I reviewed the Bad b*tch energy juice box lip kit so when I saw a cute cheap little dupe in Home Bargains I had to snap them up!

You can grab the keyring lip mask for just 99p or they also do little sets of the lip mask and matching lip gloss for just £1.99. They come in 4 flavours pink lemonade, vanilla cupcake, strawberry and vanilla waffle. I picked up the keyring for vanilla waffle  and pink lemonade but then my friend went back and snatched up the sets for vanilla cupcake and strawberry she said people were going crazy for them in Home Bargains and she remembered me buying the keyrings so now I have the whole set to give you my opinions.

The exterior packaging for the actual set is of course no where near as cute as the real thing as you get them in a little juice box with the sassy flavour names. Still the actual packaging of the lip mask is very close to the original and still has a cute key chain detail so you can clip and go. For the lipgloss it’s just missing the crown but still cute sleek design.

The flavours still have fun sassy names like Waffle drip queen , squeeze and slay, berry sassy and baked to perfection. The pink lemonade smells faintly of lemons but more just a sweet overall scent. The vanilla waffle has a lovely pleasant vanilla smell. The vanilla cupcake smells like vanilla icing so is different to the waffle which I really like. Last but not least the strawberry reminds me of strawberry sweets like bubble gum.

The lip masks all have a slight tint to them which I liked yellow for lemonade, white for waffle, light pink for cupcake and reddish pink for strawberry. The applicator for the lip masks is the same as the original. The actual product is decent goes on smoothly and doesn’t feel over sticky. In fact it feels creamy and just tastes like product do not unpleasant but not amazing but for 99p I am impressed.

The applicator for the lip gloss is also the same and really soft. You can smell the flavour more on the lip glosses and the gloss be glossing without that horrible sticky feel. I am again really impressed and it’s definitely worth picking up the set.

These are great alternatives if you want something cheap to chuck in your handbag or for kids to try without breaking the bank. If you really love them then you can also go grab the real thing. I will be working my way through mine.

Have you tried them yet?
