These Tips will Help you to Gain Way More Body Confidence

Hey Cats,

Did you know that 9 out of 10 women are not happy with their bodies? Two out of three women believe that they would be happier with themselves if they were able to lose weight around their thighs, waistline or even hips. Body confidence has been largely linked with overall happiness. The good news is that your body doesn’t need to change, you just need to change the way that you treat it. If you want to benefit your lifestyle, simply look below.

Change your Focus

People who work out on a regular basis tend to feel better about their bodies, regardless of whether or not they lose weight. You have to make sure that you stop telling yourself that you need to go to the gym or you will always be overweight because this is simply not true. You need to focus on your own enjoyment and you also need to set yourself challenges. This could be to walk somewhere new every week or whether you simply need to sign up to a dance class. If you are self-conscious about your skin then look up how to treat rosacea, so you can eliminate redness so you can gain more body confidence overall.

Don’t Get Too Wrapped up with Criticism

When a friend is complaining about their appearance, don’t give up on them. Pay them a compliment instead. Give them the support that they need and also work with them to get past any difficulties they may well be going through. If you can do this, then you will soon find that you are able to give them the affirmations they need to feel good about themselves. If you can do the same to yourself, then this will really help you out as well, as you will be able to boost how good you feel and you will also be able to stop that negative thought process in general.

Give Yourself a Break

Believe it or not, it’s usually your internal voice that will be dragging you down, and not the way you truly feel. Experts have said it time and time again, if you wouldn’t say it to a friend, don’t say it to yourself. It’s not this easy all the time though, and sometimes you may feel as though you can’t silence your inner voice at all. One way for you to try and help yourself would be for you to focus on switching your thought process. If you notice something you don’t like about yourself or your outfit, then change it up and compliment yourself on something that you do like.

Think Positively

Think of three things that you absolutely love about your body or your face. You might also want to think about three compliments that other people have given you in the past so that you can write them down. When you have written them down, stick them to your mirror and repeat them time and time again when you feel your anxiety getting the most out of you.
