Loose leaf Tea From Bird & Blend

 Hey Tea Lovers,

The weather is changing and as the leaves crunch under our feet and darkness creeps in earlier, so does the cold. The perfect answer to warming up is to pop the kettle on and have a hot cuppa. I love trying new drinks of course you can’t beat a classic tea or coffee but some days call for something a little different. I decided to order some lovely sounding loose leaf tea from Bird & Blend tea co.  When I bought them it was just before Halloween so there were lots of lovely autumnal teas to choose from. I picked out one full size and a sample bundle because there were just so many I needed to try.

For my bundle which are 20g packs I picked out honeycomb cookie doh, tea and toast, violet cream, and apple cider bobbing. Some of these are limited edition flavours as the great thing about Bird & Blend is there are always new flavours to try. Right now there are a ton of amazing sounding Christmas teas and some fab cold brews too.

My favourites were definitely violet cream and apple cider bobbing but they were all delicious. Violet cream smells divine as soon as you open the pack with flowers and chocolate every girls best friend. I love palma violets and this gave me a taste of that deliciousness. Apple cider had real pieces of apple and was really refreshing an easy drink that I imagine would taste just as lush cold. The 20g packs are great and have several cups in them so if you’re not sure what to pick these are a great option.

I just knew I would love the spiced pumpkin pie so I picked up a 50g pack as I had tried and loved this one before. A lovely spiced blend that makes you feel like you’re dancing in a pumpkin patch. I found this tea gave me lots of energy too so a great morning kick start if you love a fusion of black tea and ginger.

I find loose teas a fun experience breaking out your favourite infuser and pretty cup or just in your favourite mug and strainer you can’t go wrong there is no perfect way to make tea. I have my eye on the Christmas advent Calendar. They also do a selection of tea bundles and even a tea subscription box just imagine all the beautiful teas on your doorstep. I think next I need to try the gingerbread chai and the snowball tea sounds amazing too.

What’s your favourite tea?
