Shopping My Stash:- 5 Products I Have Been Enjoying

Hey Cats,

Whilst being in isolation it’s given me a chance to dig though all those products from beauty boxes, or that have ended up at the back of the cupboard or stored away for a rainy day. Well damn it is that rainy day!

My hair gets really knotty pretty easily especially after leaving it up in a messy bun or sometimes simply by washing it. To the point where I do not look forward to brushing my hair and tackling the tangle. I already use a tangle teaser which I still think are amazing but recently I have also been using a leave in conditioner which helps make brushing those knots away much easier. Sunny Isle knot free forever is amazing it has been infused with Jamaican black caster oil. This is a natural detangler which works great to either wash our or leave in which I prefer. It smells lovely and leaves your hair soft and manageable. The great thing is Jamaican black caster oil also helps promote hair growth too giving you healthy hair. I have straight hair but have heard this is also amazing on curly hair too.

I haven’t been wearing much make up so have been taking this opportunity to look after my skin. In the morning as part of my skincare routine I have been using the Sukin Signature Facial Moisturiser. It’s really light on the skin and melts into your skin quickly because if you’re impatient like me you want to be on the go quickly. You don’t need to use a lot which means it’s going to last longer and smells divine. The cream is not only cruelty free and natural but also paraben free too. I’m making an effort to use more natural products. The blend in the cream is rosehip, avacado, sesame and jojoba oils. It’s great for helping make sure your skin is hydrated which is needed on these hot dry days to keep your skin soft.

Pre lockdown when I was rocking make up daily I was loving the Body Shop Sports Brow. An easy pen style eye brow liner which is waterproof and sweat proof. Nothing was worse than running to work and suddenly a downpour sent my eyebrows south. It’s really easy to apply and drys quickly too with no fuss as I like to be able to get ready quickly in a morning. It comes in two shades and again is cruelty free which is a big bonus.

The last couple of weeks have been boiling and I have been trying to catch some rays in the garden. Last year I was loving these Body Shop Face Mists and they have stayed a favourite that I repurchase even after I left the body shop at home. They help you cool down and also smell lovely.  While it has been sunny I have been enjoying the Rose Dewy Glow as it not only is it cooling but it leaves a lovely natural dewy glow which just leaves you looking fresh. These mists come in 5 different varieties all with different benefits which I explained last time I spoke about the Body Shop Facial Mists.

Back to skin care in my night routine I have been using Pure Potions Skin Salvation Daily Moisturising cream. This has hemp and Shea and again is another natural product. I love products with hemp in as it’s great for hydration and paired with the Shea helps to keep your skin soft too. I use this one at night as it’s a thicker texture which feels really luxurious. This can be used for people prone to dry skin including eczema.

Have you shopped your stash while in lockdown? Which products are you finding a new love for?
