Where has the year gone? Only a month away until Christmas and that means saving pennies. The only shopping that should be going down is to buy fabulous pressies for other people, Part of saving means diving into the wardrobe and 'shopping your stash' for bits that have gone unworn and creating a capsule wardrobe to get you through the thrifty month or even two if you are extra creative. Steph of Seeing Spots came up with a fantastic way to make use of what you already have, by creating the 30 items of clothing worn over 30 days challenge. Despite my tardiness to the party I have been doing exactly that. I haven't been buying many new clothes lately so it just seemed perfect to me,
I dug deep for mixing and matching and unworn items. I came up with skirts, coordinates, leggings, dresses and even included shoes for that extra challenge. If I am honest I struggled to find 30 every day items and for me this will get me out of the rut of wearing that same comfy dress religiously. Over the next few weeks I will be sharing tips I learnt to make that capsule wardrobe work for me. So join me on my journey. If you want to see all the items I picked out give me a shout and I will put a video together.
Here are some of the outfits I rocked over the first few days. Keep and eye out for more from some of these.
Could you rock 30 items over 30 days?
