Sadly the summer is drawing to a close, the nights are growing darker earlier and the autumn months will soon be upon us. I do love the summer and all that goes with it, but I enjoy the autumn and winter months.
The two seasons definitely go hand in hand in terms of fashion and trends too. Below I’m going to look into four main autumn/winter eyewear trends for 2016 that have been noted by the pros.

Colour – Red
According to latest style advice, red is a colour that is going to be a prominent feature this autumn/winter season. I can see why! I always think of red and crimson as symbolic of warm autumn hues and festive shades of winter.

Casual – Geeky
Geek-chic is also predicted to be a strong trend over the coming months. The lighter rims and semi-rimless frames add an effortless and unobtrusive feel, whilst the larger lenses create the look. Statement – Thick rim
The final trend makes a bold statement and can be the perfect accompaniment to a chunky winter coat or girlie autumn dress and boots. This pair of thick black rims named Retro by ’3535 by ‘54 are really versatile and totally on trend. They are the perfect choice for a daintier face because of the contrast they create, think Zoe Deschanel!
