#BloggersDoItBetter Spring

To find out all about #BloggersDoItBetter check out the lovely Gemma's blog over at Touch Of Belle She had an awesome idea that we always see so many things covered in magazines and that each month the #BloggersDoItBetter team would have a topic and cover it for ourselves. This months theme is "Bloggers Do Spring Better".

Spring is all about natural beauty and regeneration. All the flowers come into bloom. So I want to help you feel refreshed and renewed like a spring flower. So often we use so many beauty products that are full of who knows what. Sometimes it is good to take a break and use natural beauty remedies. Lets relax together with a home made face mask. Made with things most of us actually have already.
Bananas, Eggs, Lemon juice, Natural Yogurt, Honey
With the ingredients above we can make two awesome and nourishing face masks. Yes 2!!

Banana Face Mask

For this one you will just need -

1 ripe medium banana
2 tablespoons of natural yogurt
1 tablespoon of honey

Mash up the banana and add the yogurt and honey. You can blend this but I decided to go old school and use a masher since we are going natural. Once it is in a smooth paste stir it up

Wash you face and don't forget to tie your hair back. This can be a messy one and there is nothing worse than banana paste in your hair. Smooth generously over your neck and face avoiding your eyes  Don't worry about your mouth as it is super yummy. Relax for 10-20 mins Here listen to some Kate bush she is awesome.

Now wash it all off and you skin should be feeling lovely and soft. Banana can be used as a face mask on it's own if you are not a fan of yogurt. Bananas are good for the skin because they are full of natural vitamins and potassium which help not only moisturise the skin but also easy any inflammation from any blemishes.

Egg White Face Mask

Wait where are you going?I said 2 remember! For this one you will need....
1 egg white, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon honey
First start by separating the yolk from the whites of the egg.You wont be needing the yolk for this mask. Add the honey and lemon juice.

Whisk the mixture up until frothy. Again wash your face with warm water to open up your pores a little. Get your hair up and apply the mixture in massaging circular motions from the neck up. Get comfy and relax 10-20 mins go on you deserve it. This time lets hit up on PJ Harvey while you feel the mask tighten up.

Once the mask is dry wash off using a warm damp cloth and revel in how firm your skin feels. I like to moisturise after this mask. Egg whites are full of natural goodness for your skin. The protein is good for helping repair cells with can help prevent wrinkles. The potassium regenerates moisture and absorbs excess oils and the magnesium leaves your skin looking young and fresh.

Do you have any natural tips to pamper us this spring?
